Voracious Records, a division of Ravenous Entertainment, was framed in 1998 by Jim Steinman and Steven Rinkoff. Rinkoff best clarified the reason for the name (and how it happened) in a May 2005 meeting with Broadwayworld.com, "Jim and I have a mark called Ravenous Records where at first the thought was just to find extraordinary vocalists for Jim's melodies, and as hard as that could be, we some way or another got skewed into finding individuals that were written work their own particular tunes, and afterward we turned into a name where we were putting out craftsmen that had nothing to do with Jim's music."
Nicki French was marked to the mark in 2000 throughout which time she recorded two tracks 'Lovers Again' (Bonnie Tyler blanket) and 'Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad' (Meat Loaf blanket), both of which never got discharged economically. Right now, the name is virtually latent, yet it is extremely dynamic in the handling of live occasions, for example the soon-to-be-discharged presentation collection by The Dream Engine, holding melodies basically composed by Steinman. It is presently possessed by Sony Music Entertainment.
